I finally received the Macy's upgrade offer this morning. When I go to upgrade, I get an error that "We encountered a problem while processing your request, please try again." This keeps happening. I've turned off all browser extensions, refreshed the page, tried the upgrade in incognito mode, switched from Chrome to Firefox, and allowed popups.

15 minutes later: Just tried again in the Macy's app. Exact same error. I'll give it some time, and try again.

Anyone know how I can fix this?

Pleased to report that my upgrade finally went through. It only took about 3 hours. Congratulations! Your Macy's Credit Card ending in has been upgraded to a Macy’s American Express® Card. It should arrive within 10-15 business days.

Limit is $10,700. I'll request another CLI in about 3 weeks.

When Citi extends an upgrade offer from the store card to Macy's AMEX it is a soft pull.
