I was offered the Macy's AMEX upgrade today. Here are my data points.
1. My card is about 3 years old. I have groomed the credit line from $300 to $7900.
2. This last month when I went to get my 31 day cli it said to call them. I didn't
3. My ficos are around 720
4. I use the card for all my houseware purchases (cooking gear, dinnerware, towels etc) This results in an average spend of $100 or so a month on something or other.
5. I have made a couple of big purchases on the card (luggage)
Since I am blacklisted on AMEX for the last 12 years (and counting) this may be the only AMEX I'll ever see lol

I would sure love to know how DSNB decides whom is offered the upgrade......my account is nearly 15 but with limited spend.
A lot of people have recently mentioned that they are offered the upgrade after going to the 'Payments' screen. So, I ordered some Frango mints (hint, not smart to order chocolate via the mail in 90+ degree heat) and submitted a payment. No.upgrade.offer.....
Probably going to close it at this point as having a Macys card with low annual spend offers very little benefit.
Anyway, sorry for the hijack, but it gets more and more frustrating to see other people get the upgrade offer and yet no soup for me.
