Macy's Amex Offer + CLI

I receive offers almost monthly on my Macy's Amex

Earn a $40 statement credit if you use the card to make 5 $80+ purchases OUTISDE of macys within the month (Up to 3 months)

Also got 0% on OUTSIDE Macys purchases until September 2026
I got an interesting 0% 12 month Balance transfer offer via email (5% transfer fee)

When i got the balance transfer offer I called and asked for a CLI from 10K to 15K


I dont have 5 $80 purchases a month so that wont qualify - most of my spend is smaller charges that add up 3K/month
If i didn't get a personal loan a month ago - i would have used the 0% balance transfer offer.

I never really use the Macy's account - maybe 1-2 times a year inside Macys's.

Grats on the CLI... Macy's is actually pretty easy to increase up to 25k, and you don't have to wait 6 months between each request.

Might be worth using, since it's given 10x points on quarterly categories the last few quarters. Right now it's giving 10x points on Groceries (US Supermarkets only).
