Called and talked to a CSR about this. She said they will definately be all reported by March statement. She also said each sub account will report its own credit limit. So if you have multiple sub accounts that are new and have high balances get ready for the hit on your util.

you mean the major purchase accounts?

If they have no balance I don't think you are going to see a limit.... When I have purchased Furrniture I only saw a limit while I had a balance but it didn't stay at the limit of approval it dropped a few hundred behind the balance.

and then you have just an open no balance, no limit account that is suppose to be what they activate a CL on if you want to purchase Jewelry or Furniture but I have also never seen that accout have a limit.

Re: Macy's Reporting

I am worried specifically about a purchase I just made. They opened up a Special Events Account. It was for about 3k in furniture. They told me when I opened it that it would all be listed under the same account as my revolving, but then found out through the forums that they report each special account as a different tradeline. The rep specifically told me that each sub account would have a corresponding CL reported to the CB when I just talked to her 30 minutes ago. But they seem to be telling different ppl different things so go figure.

Even the Managers do not know usually... I have had it out with multiple managers climbing up the food chain over HP vs. SP...

Being told that your Major Purchase would report with your store card is a big confusion of that rep and maybe that is because your major purchase account comes with your store card bill... they are on one bill but very seperated out for minimum payment and reporting 2 tradelines.

Not sure if this is news or not, but noticed on TU and EX that Macy's is reporting, including CL. Not showing on EQ, at least not yet.

Did your statement just recently close? Or the account just refreshed on your credit report?

Statement date 2/1/12, checked all 3 reports yesterday and saw it on TU and EX, but nothing about Macy's at all on EQ.

FICO 8: EQ 846 / TU 836 / EX 832

Re: Macy's Reporting

My Macys statement cut on 2/5, give or take and has already updated on TU and EQ I believe, and hasn't updated on the other. No reporting of a CL on my store revolving. I also have a special event account for a mattress but that disappeared over the summer despite still showing a balance. There's a third special event account that never had a balance and that's still reporting.

Re: Macy's Reporting

Does anyone know if Macy's CLi is HP or soft?  (Sorry about the thread jack, but I'm uber worried about my UTI now)

Re: Macy's Reporting

Its been both for me. In Jan of last year it was a HP, but I've had it twice since then with a soft so i'm not sure. I asked how they would determine CL's but I get different answers. So even if you get your "guideline" increased now I don't think it means it will automatically transfer over to a CL when they report. No one there seems to know how they will determine CL's.

Re: Macy's Reporting

Artvuzdar or anyone else who's statement recently closed.  Did your limit show up on your statement as well or just the credit reports?  Mines just closed and I did not see my limit on my statement that just posted tonight after midnight est. or  on CR this morning, but it did have my new near $0 balance on my EX report.

I was hoping my limit would have reported as it would of brought my utilization down.
