So I'm pretty much going to sock there card. Since getting the card all I have had was trouble. First order placed then it was cancelled was told to call Card protection department. Horrible CSR she had no clue wth was going on and why it was cancelled asked if I could speak with someone else got the same answer then was assured that it would not happen again to try placing the order okay sure few hrs later when I had time placed the order went on its way then several minutes later order cancelled again told me to call again this time I was pretty upset. So called again First off I couldn't understand her >.> nor she could understand me asked to be transferred to higher up so got the same answer before because of security etc etc it wont happen again please try your order once again. I did bother at all after that.
Now a week has gone buy thought about buying a few things that were on sale logged in everything was ok added some stuff in my bag so its saved. When I wake up got an email saying due to security your account is locked I mean Wth now?????? UGH! I'm done. Anyone else go through this nonsense?
Yes, unfortunately, multiple times. It's one of the primary reasons I was thrilled to close my Macy's card.
Sorry you are having difficulty.

Welcome to the disgruntled Macy's club. I had nothing but problems with them and their redesigned card member site. They recently sent me an email saying sorry about your recent experience here's 30% off your next order. Funny thing is I never complained to anybody, they must have figured they were so crappy on their own that they should just applolgize. Either way their card still sits in my sock drawer.
OMG! since you said that I got the same thing just a bit ago! Like really? What in the world am I going to do with that 30% off if I can't even put an order in hahaha! I actually am laughing so hard it hurts >.<
I have but not with Macy's. Once my order was given to someone else and to keep their corporate offices from finding out they decided not to call me. Needless to say, everyone heard about it. I don't know where you are, but I'm in South Florida, and I've heard customers call into the store and place orders for merchandise.
The fraud issue isn't going to go away by itself. You will need to speak with them to clear it up. You don't have to but they may close your account. Please let us know the outcome.

yeah I have but I will keep close eye on them surely will just let them close it on its own if they need to be. Won't even use to make purchases online unless I Go to the store if some big sale happens either way not much of a big shopper at the store but every now and then. I'm in Central Massachusetts
Wow, sorry to hear about what happened to you. I can honestly say that I have never experienced issues like that with Macy's. While I recently opened a Amex with them, I did have an account for many years before I closed it and it was always smooth sailing. Now I've had problems with online ordering with Neiman and most recently Barneys (Barneys shipped the wrong size and color shoes twice, before they got it right). See what Macy's is willing to do for their continuous mishandling of your purchase and online experience. Good luck!
I'm sorry to hear that. I only use mine for furniture purchases at 0% for 12 months. Using them as a revolver is a PITA.

Exactly dodgey, there is quite a bit of irony in offering the coupon when your orders keep getting canceled!
I received the e-mailed coupon for my Bloomingdale's card, which I have kept for the time being - we'll see if I decide to continue with that one. DSNB is not very organized, unfortunately.
