Hi All, what is the best way to apply for a CLI? I had my card for a month now SL $405. Also, where do I find the luv button?
There is a "luv" button on your account summary online.
I "think" I got my first increase at 30 days but I am not positive.
Good luck
Considering the card is a month old, your only chance is to call Macy's credit department and plead your case perhaps by saying that you need to "invest" in new business clothes and you'd like to give Macy's your business because you like their products (it just may work). That being said, I noticed in your signature line that you have opened a bunch of cards recently (3/18) Personally I'd never have a Credit One, but sub-prime vulture cards aside, you have already damaged your chances for getting better limits with inquiries and a lot of new accounts (low average age of account(s)).
Wait a year until next April and your multi-inquiries will no longer damage your scores and you'll have a year experience with your current accounts - then ask for a credit limit increase. One final thought, store cards such as Macy's carry high-interest rates please be sure to pay those in full every month since if you carry a balance you'll end up paying a lot more for those purchases than the "sale price".

Where do you see the luv button exactly?
It it right on the screen when you log into your credit card account, under Manage your card.
If its not there it means you account is ineligible atm for a cli

I am very new to credit as you can see so I thought credit one would help me build. Yes I did apply for a few cards in a short period of time but I figured that would be the only way to build credit. hopefully in the future I can get cards wth higher limits and get rid of these bad ones.
With the exception of Credit One, all your cards are keepers for at least 5 years

Actually appears on your account right away BUT you aren't eligible for atleast 30 days or so , may be longer.

Ok Good, I am new to credit but I am definitely listening to the advice given. So I'll wait a few months before requesting a CLI. I do see the request credit limit increase button but I'll wait. Thanks
