Macy's has started reporting a credit limit on the the statements again. It has yet to report to the CRA's. I noticed it on my statement last month.
I noticed on my statement that it says come July, Macys will be following the credit limit that is listed on my statement. I will wait until August and it better be there. If not I am cancelling the card asap.
update: ended up getting a Dillard's card instead. They gave me a Dillard's Rewards AmEx with $4200 CL. Woo! First AmEx!
I applied there at the store, and had to talk to the credit person* over the phone, and they asked me questions like my address from 30 years ago. *(I'm sure there's some myfico approved abbreviation, but not sure what it is). Sales person said they had never encountered that, but they gave it to me so it's all good.
Interestingly, the documentation said they pulled a TU 759; when one month ago I pulled my TU score from Myfico and it said 739. (shrugs).
yes; am happy -- thought it was going to be just a store card
