Re: Macys store card approval odds

I was approved for Macys store card with a exp score much lower than that (may be around 620s). But applied online and they gave me a ridiculous limit of $100. I heard if you apply in store chances are better to get better limits. Not sure. 5 months after opening the account they increased the limit to $5000 !! Recently they gave another CLI to $6300!!

I would say go for it.

Re: Macys store card approval odds

Yes i had lots of lates on my car loan, which is now paid off, but i still have them in my report. Also had charged off cards, collection accounts. It was back in March 2013 when i started rebuilding from a terrible credit situation. May be i was little lucky to get approved for Macys.

As previouly stated on your other posts/threads, those derogatory items may present an issue but it's going to be a YEMV situation.  The only way to know is when you apply OP.  Good luck.
