Man It Feels Good to Give these guys the AX!!!

Well today I did all my CC chopping for What I have Left. Cancled Lots of Preditory lenders With Crazy AF.

First Premier - CL $300 - $59AF + $7.00 Monthly (These guys will do anything to retain you as a customer including giving you wrong FICO information. I was told that AoAA will become horrible, and that Closed by customer counts against me)

Credit One - CL $2500 - $79 AF (Offered CLI with fee but no AF waiver)

First Savings - CL $1500 - $89AF (Out of all the cards this was the simplest cancelation)

Applied Bank - CL $2800 - $59 AF + $ 5.50 Monthly (Offered CLI for a fee LOL and Free AF said No)

BBRWMC- CL- $700 - $59 AF (Tried to get AF waived as I would have kept this card but told me I would need to re-apply, Overall very easy cancelation)

Total Credit Line Axed: $7800

Last CC Aproval $15K

Total Saved on AF and Maitnace $495!!!!!! per year

Rebuilding Credit or Just starting out is hard, However when you get your prime cards dont be afraid to ax these lenders. Always follow up with a written letter and have them mail you conformation.

Only had one official rebuilder (other was secured CU card that is now unsecured). First National legacy (79 vs 89 annual fee, same bank). They were good with cli's, hassle free, grace period. All US based customer support, and very easy to cancel.

They admit they are rebuilder card. They offered to lower apr to 19.99 vs 29.99 without credit check, but no AF waiver (cause we don't make them money Smiley Wink). Would recommend this bank to rebuilders everywhere (first national, first savings, South Dakota). When you must pay to play!

Congrats on your rebuild.

That is amazing! I'm glad for you! Talk about a huge savings!

Great inspiring results for all people out there who are trying to rebuild their credit and the benefits of doing so!

Better Credit, equals better rewards and less money spent on Super High APR cards and Annual fees!

Good Job!

Great when you get to where you can kick those to the curb. Just give em thanks for helping get you to where you are now. I always tell them I appreciate that they have helped me reestablish my credit. First Premier went last month and Credit One goes bye bye this month. I will be down to only one AF card after that, but  it doesn't charge me for another 9 months, then we'll negotiate. Smiley Happy
