Got a letter stating this today after pressing the CLI button online does anyone have a limit higher than $10,000? (YMMV on whether your online account has a CLI button or not)
I requested 12,000 it countered with 10,000 and in a letter I got today noted this was the highest limit their policy allowed?
I got what I wanted which was $10,000 was just curious if anyone else had ever received a letter like this for their Marvel MasterCard..
I've received the same letter. If you want to go higher than $10K, you'll probably need to call into Credit Solutions (Chat feature may also allow for this).
Hmm. Makes me wonder how/why I was able to get 12,000 without having a verbal conversation with anybody, only using the CLI button. Granted, I hit the button within 15 mins of approval for the card, lol.
When I applied, and it didn't show the SL on the approval page, I logged into my account to see the $1,000 temp SL. Well, at the time, I didn't know it was a temp SL, and immediately requested a CLI to 12,000 (worst they could do is say no) via the online cli button as the 1,000 SL was the lowest I'd ever had. Then came onto the forums, explained what happened, and found out it was (likely) a temp SL, so shoot, who knows what I had. But I got the 7-10 days message, but when I activated my card I have the 12,000 CL.....
I did not call in or speak to anybody. Perhaps I am an exception? I doubt it though. Maybe they were going to approve me for the 12,000 anyways? But wouldn't the online app/approval count as an "online cli" and top out at the 10,000 too?
Unless it could be due to me requesting the CLI as soon as I did, while the HP was still fresh?
Sync does this across the board with the 10K max limit per policy BS. I had it happen on 2 Sam's accounts over the years and called US based CS a few times and they wouldn't budge no matter what. About to give up and close them out I spotted the CS overseas 8173 number and the success people were reporting and decided to give it a shot and/or close it. Low and behold that policy magically disappeared with a phone call and a bump to $25K in a matter of minutes.
25K on my Captain America, took a phone call...

I have a 50k limit on my Marvel MC. Called credit solutions to get it.
How much do you use that card?
I had no problems getting to $25k when I first applied, and had to send in POI docs to get it higher. They then gave me $25.4K
I have heard of people getting $35K on that card, but this is the first i've heard of $50k. perhaps I should use the card more often. Now, if there was only a good way to change the design on the card...
