"Dear LongTimeLurker
Thank you for your request to reduce the credit limit on your Chase Freedom Unlimited(TM) Visa Signature card 4147 2122 3232 3408.
Unfortunately, at this time we cannot grant your request for the following reason(s):
1) Spend on the card is too low over the last 6 months
2) Ratio of spend to credit limit too low
3) Lack of similar reductions reported by other creditors on your credit report.
I am sorry that we cannot fulfil you needs at this time, but please feel free to request again after 02/22/2021

You transposed last two digits
And the 6th. 414721 is the Visa BIN for Nordstrom. (414720 is one of the Chase BINs. Or should I call it BIN Number? I know he loves that.)
My grandfather savor got reduced from 10.5k to 5k. Not worried about it though as I really don't use the card that much. I will next year but I definitely didn't need 10.5k.
Me and my wife got CapOne haircuts too.
My 17k got reduced to 5k and my wife's 15.5k also got chopped to 5k...
Not a big deal for us as we each run under $100/mo on them.
My 11k card has not been touched yet...
Sorry to read about all of these CLDs. Surprisingly the card I am an AU on has not been touched. Limit has been $17k since it was opened in 1999. In the past 4 years, it has seen exactly 3 small charges to keep them from closing it. Would not be the end of the world if they CLDed it since it's only still open for account age, but again I am a little surprised they haven't done so after seeing others with reduced limits while actually putting some spend on theirs.

Oh, @Remedios was referring to the card number? I thought she mean the digits in 2021, the last two digits in my message. And I didn't.
But you are right, I meant to put down my credit card number but I accidently used my record of the DPRK Musudan-ri launch codes. Please don't use!
Haven't been hit with the CLD yet, though my statement closes in a couple days, so maybe then. Don't have a massive limit ($4950), though that hasn't seemed to matter for some. Even had a modest CLI approved a couple months ago, inching my way to $5K. Been putting probably between $200-500 a month on it of late, though other times I'll go for months under $100. So the buzzcut might sting a little, but it wouldn't change a whole lot for me. Interesting to see nonetheless, as I've generally considered CapOne to be among my more 'reliable' lenders. Or at least mostly predictable.

I expected a lot more from a loyal customer in a realtionship with giant corporation.
I didn't read the entire thread so maybe this has been mentioned already but DoC did an article about all the Cap 1 credit line reductions. Lot of people have credit cut to 5k or even 2k. My Venture card is still at 13k. Its my only card with cap 1 and it was my first credit card when I started seriously focusing on my credit over 7 years ago.

Similar to my QS except I have an AU on that card. I used my Savor way more than that card and somehow it is still at 15k while my Savor was CLD.
Yeah, I got trimmed from $9,000 to $2,000. I only spend a little over $1,500 a year on it. All my FICOs are over 800 and my utilization is 1%, so they must really be broke to need my $7,000!
