Hi, I'm relatively new to the forum. While I belong to many other forums, I never knew a credit forum even existed. Anyway, I'm having a good time and learning some interesting things. One recent thing was Merrick provides a score, ie "go score". I've seen the "go score" for maybe years, but never knew what it was for. So I learned my score was 847...... out of 900. Is this score completely meaningless except to Merrick Bank? Obviously it doesn't use fico values. Does it use my credit reports or just my history with Merrick Bank. A month ago my actual fico was 811 or 813. Is there any reason to further use Merrick's scoreboard?

Its a Bankcard enhanced version of the Fico Score, BC scale is 250-900 most likely the Fico 08 version. Its valid and its generated off the report that they use to monitor your account, I dont know which bureau they use someone else will have to chime it on that.

TU '08 Bankcard enhanced IIRC.

Thanks for the info! Much appreciated.
it is very worthwhile to note that its only good on the day after your Statement Date when it is actually issued. If you are apping, you would want to know that score before applying to places. So two weeks later a different TU FICO 08 score may result knowing you have had activity on the credit cards/TransUnion.
