Merrick closed my Hooters Mastercard. TU FICO 765!!! Bye Bye Hooters, May you RIP

Received letter today. Merrick Bank closed my Hooters Mastercard account. Reason given "I have opended too many revolving accounts recently". CL was only 900 and I hadn't used it in almost a year. It was my lowest limit card and had been lodged in the sock drawer for months. Last card I opened was Chase Marriott Rewards Premier with 17,500 CL a month ago.
Good riddance Hooters and Merrick. RIP. Last time I visited restaurant food wasn't that great anyway. I tried to close account myself 3 months ago and they talked me out of if.

I think about 14 months.  Started at $900 never a CLI.

ouch, you have reminded me that i need to fire up my hooters and barclaycard starting tomorrow, as i will likely have a new account tomorrow. i have been holding back on these cards as i am in the process of opening up a new account.
