There is a possibility of approval, and a decent one even.  It just means your application requires a manual review.  Give them a few days and then call to check on the status.

I got the same message.  Took them a week and a half to call me and told me I had all the credit they could extend to me at this time, but offered to move some existing credit to the new card.  I told them nevermind.

I got the online 30 day response on the 10th. Figured it for a denial and went app crazy (22 in 2 days) Got a call on the 25th asking to verify and EXPLAIN some things on my credit including the inqs. She put me on hold and came back with approval. My one mistake was when she asked what kind of limit I was looking for and I said I wanted to rent cars and hotel rooms. What a dumb answer but I work graveyard shift and she woke me up. I only got 1000 but at least i cancelled crap1 and their offer of 300 bucks. YeeeeHaw!!!!
