Hello MyFico folks,
I am getting over being in LAs Vegas last week and wanted to know if I can make weekly payments on my Navy Cash Rewards (and an AU)credit cards? I made a large payment last Friday and plan on putting a lot of spend on the card the next few months. Also, my DW just got the NFCU Amex and she paid off furniture and bday items after it posted last week. The reason I ask is I didnt wanted several thousand dollar statements post. Any exepriences or guidance. Thanks!
They are happy to take weekly payments. No CC ever wants to turn down money. Do whatever you need to keep your UTIL and balance low. No human will probably ever notice that you are paying weekly. There certainly will be no negative inference from that. It will not hurt your scores.

I've paid them more than once per week before, it's never been an issue.
I do not have a NFCU account, so this is just general info. (YMMV)
I was waiting for someone with real NFCU knowledge to answer ! (It has not happened)
Most CU's and Banks have no issues with multiple payments per statement period. (None of mine - Tested)
Most have no issues with paying more than the balance and having a negative account balance. (None of mine - Tested)
Many on this forum pay just before the statement cuts to control "Util" just to play with numbers and see how different card numbers reporting and percentages move the "Fico" score, and how much. (Tested)
Paying an account as only an AU without the account log-in would require pushing payments from your banks bill-pay service. I do not believe it should be a problem (I push payments to all of my Banks and CU CC accounts from one checking account)
** While I was composing this you got a couple of customers **

Thank you ( and every else who has answered my post ) confirming this as both myself and the DW will be making payments weekly for a while(one reason is we get paid in alternate weeks). Also, we are planing to put all of our monthly spend on our Navy Cards. I have disco, amex, and other cards but they havent shown us love even with much spend so will focus on Navy for a while.
The only thing that prevents more than one payment within 30 day period, is for "new" payment accounts.
