What is the highest number of times you reconned a CC application with Chase and were accepted? For those of you who have had success after multiple recons was it ever a situation where your circumstances did not change, but the later CSR decided to approve you anyway? I always wondered how much independent judgement they are allowed and if results vary wildly between reps or its just whatever their computer tells them at the moment.
I tried 3x once, but they just gave me the same answer. I think they keep records of calls and a summary of what was said. Unless you have something that can convince them different, it wont work.
yes they keep a record of everything, i tried 5 times with all different people and get the same response "No". They want to see good credit history for 6 more months then I can apply.

You might find that interesting. The OP reconned 3 times and was told no, with the last CSR telling him that it was his third call and the answer was always going to be no. Called a fourth time anyway and got approved.

Yea it makes sense that they would keep track of each call etc. What were you applying for that they told you they wanted to see six months of credit history? I can't remember what the rep told me abut my CSP but I could have swore she said they like to see at least six months of good credit card activity. I'm hoping I don't apply in six months after using the freedom with great use and PIF and then have them take a HP just to tell me I have to wait another six months. That would really screw me up in terms of my plans.

When I had apply for the csp( denied) all my recon call was deny, for same reason no 5k cl... The last rep told me to try again later
Yea. The issue I was having wasn't with Chase not wanting to give me a credit card (they subsequently gave me a 3k Freedom) the issue was they didn't want to give me a 5k CL, so they could not give me CSP. When I go back they will see my 5K venture, so I am trying to remain optimistic about my chances.

Same here they gave me a freedom as well, tell me how it goes when u apply again with your 5k venture!!, how many months have u been waiting to really again?
I was denied in the end of May and got the Venture at the very end of May and the Freedom earlier this month.I am going to reapply for CSP and apply for Bold at the same time in Jan after I have at least six months reporting with two cards. I have an old chase card that was closed out years ago still showing on my CR, so I am hoping that with the Freedom and another 5k card and six months of open revolver CC activity will get me in.
