Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I'm sure at least a few of you are familiar with a website called Slickdeals (www.slickdeals.net). I found this on there while skimming through the forums:

This is news to me, but apparently AMEX does these $25 statement credits a few times a year. All you have to do is spend $25 or more at a locally owned business (who takes AMEX, obviously) and AMEX will give you a $25 credit. So if you've got a favorite local restaurant, grocery store, or whatever, you can help them out and basically get $25 worth of goods for free!

You do have to register your card and registration is not open yet. Should be open early November.

Yes that's true. Registration will open on November 1, but last year AMEX offered this to only the first 100,000 to register. I thought it would be good to give everyone a few days notice rather than sometime on Nov 1 after AMEX closed registration ![]()

Last year, Amex expanded the offer to 300K cardholders and extended the offer through 12/31.

I made a thread about this earlier this week but can't find it now so here's a new one.

Registration is limited and you must register here.
As far as I know you can register once per card (as opposed to once per person or household), so those of you with multiple AMEX can benefit multiple times from this deal!
Thanks I registered! ![]()
REGISTERED...THANKS!!!
