My Barclay Rewards MC and Discover It Sending me blank checks. Can I use these blank checks to pay my rent so I can earn cash back points??? Is it a good idea or a bad one?

Can you get blank checks from AMEX and pay student loans (nelnet?)

Don't think they're subject to points but I do love blank checks!

Are they subject to balance transfer apr/fees or cash advance fees?

Usually they are special/promotional rates that are not subject to cash advance fees.  They usually have a fee 2%. 3%, etc. of the amount but not 100% sure with these two banks as I've never done business with them before.

Balance transfers, whether checks, direct deposits, or credit card to another card, do NOT earn rewards.

Only spending on the credit card will.
