I actually called the first number this time before you edited. She insisted to send me on to a Customer Service Rep to initiate a CLI request. I deliced an politely explained that the last CSR they sent me to denied my request to review without pulling it again. She put me on hold and got approval to do a manual review herself. She asked me a couple questions about the Sallie Mae baddies (I thought they were on deferment) and then she updated my profile and approved the card for $2000 since the Discover $6000 limit is not yet reporting, obviously.
$2000 is much better!
And for everyone's information, she told me they pulled TransUnion. However she cannot give mthe score, bummer.
Thank you again!
Great! That was fast. sometimes you just have to reach the right person.
Thanks everyone. It's amazing how much it varies.
I wonder if i can get this $30 annual fee removed from my Capital One card now since no other cards have one? I've heard that Capital One is a pain sometimes so I havent attempted this yet.
Congratulations on the successful recon! Discover It is still better than Chase Freedom, but it's always good to get a higher CL on a card, especially in your case!
Lexie, do you have a contact address?
Thanks everyone!

You may want to send a pm instead of publicizing the email address. Your guy may be surprised with hundreds of emails tomorrow otherwise.
congrats! those 2 banks have denied me a few times already...lol...so you can say that i'm in the boat prior to your success...i'll wait a few more months before i go at them again congrats on your discover cl
It's ok, Lexie, I already fired off an email to the address you posted
djc - just wait and try and try again! Once you get that score over 700 sky is the limit.
