Hello everyone,
I'm starting to rebuild my credit and started from 580 in October and now up to 635. I have a active mortgage never late and auto loan never late but he three charges off and a few close late pmts. I also just got a secure cc with capital one for 49.99 down and a credit one card both balance are below 39%. Was wondering which card would approve me?
76 gas card by GE you have a very good chance.
Chevron good possibility if you don't have 76 near you.
I don't have a 76 near or a Chevron... I was thinking of a store credit but don't want to get a hard inquire if get denied.

Walmart is first choice because then you get your Fico score monthly too!
PayPal MasterCard but you may end up with a Smart Connect which doesn't have MasterCard.
How do I get the soft approval from the shopping trick? Also I applied last month for a walmart card but my score was below 580 now its up to 635 after a few clean up items.. Do you think I should apply for a new card at wal mart?
I was denied for a walmart card last month but like I stated above. my credit is updated and cleaned and have no collection but three charges and few late pmts on close accts...

I would apply again.
The shopping cart trick is for like Express, Victoria Seceret... you put stuff in your shopping cart of maybe $100 or so and then go check out and when you put in all your info and click continue before reaching payment a screen will pop up that you are approved for credit if you want it enter the last 4 of social and your dob... then you can always cancel out before buying the stuff in your shopping cart but you get the credit card.... whole thread on it... they are issued by comenity bank.
Does Express pull from TU or all three?
