After reading about all the good luck people have been having with Citi lately, I decided to pull the trigger after being buried with "invitations to apply" for over 3 years from the American Airlines Aadvantage program.  And guess what???

Instantly Approved for the Citi Gold AAdvantage World Mastercard for $11,500!!!  I'm so frickin' excited!

It looks like Citi has opened the door, and they are stampeding in.
I have a feeling that door may not be open very much longer, though.

But you've got some really nice scores. Who did they pull? And what state are you in?

It's my second largest CL to date.  I got my largest CL ($30K - still can't believe it) from Navy back in November.

If anyone is interested, my EQ score was 692 last week, but I'm not yet certain which CB they pulled (although that's who they seem to pull the vast majority of the time in VA).

Right now I live in northern VA (just outside of Washington DC), but my heart will always belong to TX.  (Yeah, I'm a native TX girl through and through.) 

However, TX is a big EX state (it's their home after all), and I can't return until I've cleared my credit.  Somehow my mom isn't satisfied with that excuse.  LOL!
