JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT IT WAS OVER AND YOU WERE SAFE FROM ANY MORE LONG POSTS IN THIS THREAD.... THE SAGA CONTINUES!!! (Do you think I'm enjoying it either?!?!?) Anyhow, if I have any fans of my personal posts out there, this is for you. Also to those with patience, a decent attention span, those who care, those who like to read, and those with Adderall/Ritalin(or maybe a lot of coffee, or even coke I suppose), this is for you as well. As my tagline says, thanks for your support! I couldn't do this without you! Well, that's not entirely true. I could, but it's probably not quite as fun without replies, even the half-hearted and/or disparaging ones(life has a place for those people too, I suppose).

So over the weekend, I called for a replacement card for the one that had arrived at my home address, with the opened envelope.
I go to my PO box yesterday looking for my Citi Costco which should have been there, it wasnt. However, THREE Amex envelopes were in there!
(Edit: these numbered envelopes remind me of door 1, 2, and 3)
Envelope #1 Said thanks for providing the information requested, but "regrettably" they were unable to verify the signature of my banker. WHAT THE BLEEP?!?! If youve followed the thread, youve already read the details of what I had to do with the banker, TWICE. It then says "regrettably"(again) if they dont hear from me in 30 days, they wont be able to provide further consideration to my application. AGAIN....WHAT THE BLEEP? I already had my card delivered! Oh, thats not the end either.
Envelope #2 Gave me the pin # to use with my card.
Envelope #3 Gave me ANOTHER card!! Again, this was my PO box, my replacement card is coming today to my home address! So I will have THREE cards!! Again, WHAT THE BLEEP?!?! AMEX has already dropped the ball at least 5 times....and now this tomfoolery?!?! The card had a different number than the first one.
America, what is going on here? That card likely last weel, as I had not been to the PO box since last Monday, due to leaving town. AMEX is really busting my bleeps here! First they take over a week just to tell me they need address verification on a card I prequalified for in real time online, then screw around longer and drag the process out to 2 weeks, then send it to the opposite address they promised to send, and also did not send to either by the date they PROMISED it would be there(the day before I left town), the combination of which ended up with my envelope being molested!!
Now, it seems they in a way got the address right, although still way too late due to my original plans of being out of town 3 weeks, which ended with me unceremoniously booking a same day 1000 mile flight, after only a few days out of town. What's going on here? When I called to replace, did it replace 2 cards?!?! If so, did I (bleep) myself by closing a DOUBLE limit? Probably not, but maybe, so I figured Id get some opinions. If I had known, I may have activated both and used just the PO Box(unmolested) card, and waited to see what showed up on my reports. (Bleep) my post office for recently ending 24 access due to "safety issues". ugh!!!!!
Stuff like this doesnt happen often to me, and I found it interesting, to say the least. Seriously, can I say amateur hour yet?!?! No, I'm not exactly riled like George Costanza(at least for now), but I still have to try to get that FedEx envelope coming to my home address today, hoping it will be unmolested, unlike last time. I took my angry note off my door yesterday around 6:30, giving folks at least one weekday to come home and possibly see it, as there are 2 directions to exit my floor, so who knows how many saw it. Sadly, the (bleep) could be a resident of any floor, and very likely could have been that woman that claims she found it open and put it under my door after I texrted her asking if she had "helped me" by doing so.
UPDATE: Some young chick with a shaved head came in the back door(no pun intended) when I opened it to toss some trash in the dumpster yesterday, early evening. I figured she ws a resident(she didnt appear desitute, other than possible the buzzcut), but she kind of hung around the end of the hall on my floor, after coming up at a slower pace behind me... so a little while later, I poked my head out into the hallway(I ad gotten around to drinking and singing some 90s rock) and saw a long and fit pair of legs protruding from a little nook at the end of the hall, presumably her. They may have looked more appealing to some of you, being the buzzcut was out of view). I mean she could have been someone's guest, but just showing up when theyre not here(in the age of cell phones almost cybernetically attached to people!), by hanging around the back door, lying in wait to bolt in as soon as someone opened it? Even though that isnt normal in here, I wouldnt have thought as much of it without the very recent theft, not to mentiin numerous priors.
Ok, so NOW I AM a little bit riled thinking about that, but not overly so. This is not a TWIXXXXXXX!!!!! moment(tm) again.(picture George Costanza looking to the heavens and instead of "Twix", shouting, "AMEXXXXXXXXXXXX" as the camera spins in circles at it elevates above his enraged face!!! (I included the link of the 6 second[suitable for fruitflies and the like] clip at the bottom of the post, so folks can have some idea what I'm referring to, although it's not as funny if you dont know the context, but stilldoes the job).
I know some of you dont care about that part of my story, and that's fine. Simply skip it. I know others do, and i sure as (bleep) do, being I feel it is important. There is much more to this story than just the parts you are interested in, so please get over yourselves. I'm seeking help from anyone, and if the length eliminates folks with the attention span of a fruitfly, or those playing on their phones on their employer's dime, then so be it. I don't care to hear from those type of people so much anyhow.
Did you ever consider my posts are a natural filter(written without me having to put unnatural effort into such)? I enjoy writing, I truly do, at least under the write circumstances(tm).

UPDATE: AMEX BCE finally arrives, this time unmolested!! (It was only in my foyer roughly 2 hours and 40 minutes though). Oddly, as I just noted, they sent a FedEx tracking number to me in email this time! They didn't for the last FedEx delivery...so do they only do it for replacement cards? Either way, I think I'm ready to forgive them and maybe even in essence forget as well. I mean while I'm only mildly happy, I'm feeling quite content. I'm happy I went back to the bottle, tonight I will be drinking out of happiness!
Also oddly, the first 2 cards had phone numbers on the stickers. This 3rd card had ONLY the web address on the sticker. Again, curious why this is, even if it's a replacement thing.
Also got my Citi Costco Visa today, so it was extra special getting 2 in one day, when I havent gotten one in maybe 15 or so months.
I feel blessed and grateful, because Ive read it isnt always easy getting these with a bk7, so I do not take them for granted. I don't think I will officially "garden", but in essence am likely to for about 6 months to 1) wait for my inquiries to fall off, and 2)hopefully wait 6 or 7 months to get rid of anything with "super new" status. I pulled my 3 month myfico report, and I think it mentioned something about new accounts in language that it hadnt before.
Thanks to anyone who actually read my stream of conscious writing, I will attempt to be more concise. You should seem the EPIC email I sent my building's manager about the mail situtation and some other things if you think these messages are long, it's probably double these, if not more....and it's to a real life person whom I need to deal with occasionally.
Please dont lock thread yet, I thought it was over before, but with getting 2 cards before the replacement(3 total), there could be more news. I'm hoping someone has an answer, or at least some theories about why that happened, and if you agree with me that it seems unproffesional, along with some of their other antics. I'm not bitter, just curious as heck!!
