NASA FCU Survey: Answer at last!

NASA FCU sent me a survey about credit card usage.  First question asked how many credit cards I had.  My answer was rejected as being out of range for this question.   Some experimentation showed that the maximum value allowed was 12.   I thought this might be a one-time edit check.  But next you had to break them down into NASA FCU, other CU, bank and non-bank FI.  I put real numbers in there and got "Values must sum to 12"  So, serious stuff

So finally, after all those threads about how many cards should you have, how much is too many, we have a partial answer:  12 is the maximum!

You're not supposed to include those issued by Bank Of LLT (and it's subsidiaries).

That's actually interesting. While we can all read statistics about how many cards average consumer has, I'm really curious on how outlier(ish) 20+ happens to be.

The latest addition to our holdings, LTL Apostrophe Correct Use Enforcement Group  ("Get its right or we'll get you") gives you a pass.  This time.

Business must be doing well if you can afford time to point out contraction vs possessive.

With that said, I'm thankful for that one time free pass. Glad my $5.00 in LLT All Fees All The Time Checking finally did something good for me.

Well, fairly obviously, at least to someone as insightful as yourself, it's a front.

We just found it useful to explain to the nice people at Export Control "Yes, those large oily boxes marked Machine Parts, crossed out and replaced with Apostrophe's are indeed filled with apostrophes and there is no problem at all in sending them to the indicated destination.   Yes, that is perhaps an authoritarian/terrorist regime, but the benevolent leader wishes his people to learn the correct use of apostrophes so it is humanitarian aid.  And yes, those apostrophes certainly do rattle don't they!"

I just checked with Charles III and he said she isn't.  (The King has to know all his subjects).

And while the UK doesn't usually allow citizenship via investment (visa, yes), a recent jewel in the crown (so to speak) in our group, LTL Nationality Real Quick Inc, can make arrangements for suitable (i.e. 9 figures) investors.

Not counting business cards, i have 35 personal cards. I'm an outlier. I know you're not supposed to but I actively CANCEL cards as the older ones tend to have lower limits and i was top-heavy on store cards which i feel are frowned upon by underwriters. I AM affected by the Chase 5/24 rule but otherwise... 💰🤪. I pay all in full and NEVER use my debit cards. I'm just trying to STAY ready so I don't have to GET ready.
