NEW NFCU CC program.

Husband was approved for the CR card yesterday- today was emailed the option to get his card info to add to his digital wallet and start using his card immediately.  He had to call CS as it would not activate but the rep said this is a new program they just started.

Impressive that he was able to call on a Saturday night to help get it activated correctly and get to use his brand new NFCU CC less than 24 hours from approval.

That's a nice feature! Good info for me as I may be going for a Flagship in the next few months. Thanks!

Re: NEW NFCU CC program.

Congrats on NFCU approval! What card and what was the CL.

And oh yes, NFCU seems to have round-the-clock customer service although I don't know if I’ve actually seen that advertised anywhere. I just know every time I’ve called, I can get a person on the line.

|| AmX Cash Magnet $40.5K || NFCU CashRewards $30K || Discover IT $24.7K || Macys $24.2K || NFCU CLOC $15K || NFCU Platinum $15K || CitiCostco $12.7K || Chase FU $12.7K || Apple Card $7K || BOA CashRewards $6K

CashRewards @ 25k.  I know when I got mine in April, this was not offered to me and that's when the rep told him they just started this program.  Apparently when it launched a few weeks ago it had major issues.  It seems to have some hiccups left.  It took him a transfer from one rep in CC to their digital wallet dept and then that rep had to wait for someone from the MC side to help her.

Overall, pretty neat to get basically instant access to use credit.

To be honest, I don't know why this isn't more commonplace. Most cards start your SUB countdown on the date of approval and yet it generally takes a few days to a week to actually get your card and be able to start using it.
