NFCU 91/3 CLI & Credit Card Application

I was looking towards applying for the NFCU Platinum card for the low intrest and looking to do a balance transfer.

I recently requested a CLI and was denied for my NFCU cashrewards I have had for about 21 months about 1 billing cycle ago but then got auto credit limit increase about 2 days after that.

I also recently got approved for a new AMEX BCP  card about 1-2 weeks ago.
I believe that the NFCU 91/3 rule means no more than 1 cc or CLI within 91 days or 3 months.
Does that rule only apply to nfcu credit cards? Would I be good to apply right now if that CLI happened recently and the recent amex application?

Re: NFCU 91/3 CLI & Credit Card Application

Just a couple of weeks ago, I got the max CLI ($8K each) on two of my NFCU cards within 3 days of each other.

The AMEX card doesn't affect the NFCU rules - it is with their products only. Since you got an auto CLI recently, you need to wait 181 days (the 91 is only for 1st CLI for each card), but the new card app is on a different timer so since that card is years old, yes you can app for a new NFCU card now.
