The good news is my application was accepted and I am now officially a member. I also applied for the GoRewards CC and received the following message:
"Your credit card application has been submitted and is being reviewed. The normal processing time for a credit card application is 3-5 business days."
Anyone have any thoughts on this? Do I have a decent shot at an approval? I am self-employed so I hope they don't ask for pay stubs. Thanks for your insight.
Current Score: EX: 718, EQ: 715, TU: 720I'm not an expert, but with those scores I would think you will be approved

I got the same message when I applied for nCashRewards in November on a Sunday. On either Monday or Tuesday I was approved for $17,500CL. My score was 680-ish at the time. ( I could go back and double check if you want me to)

How long did you wait before your 2nd card with NFCU?
Thank you everyone. I just logged in to my account and it shows a GoRewards credit card with a $5,000 CL. I guess that means I am approved.
Not the highest CL in the world, but I'll take it. The interesting thing is there are no messages or emails or any communication whatsover that I was approved. In fact, when I click on the loan status button it stil shows "under review."

My first card was Feb 2013 and it was a $500 Secured Card. I applied for the nCashRewards 9 months later in Nov 2013. When the 12th statement cut on the secured card they returned the deposit and raised my CL to $3,000. I've considered requesting a CLI on that card but with the $20k card I'm not sure that I'm doing myself any favors.
