The current promotion is for the Flagship Visa, with 40k points. If you like the program, then I'd say sure, as for many the $49 annual fee is offset by the NO FTF, 2% earnings, other travel benefits.

App'd for the Flagship Visa and got the 3-5 day message 

Your credit card application has been submitted and is being reviewed. The normal processing time for a credit card application is 3-5 business days.

You may later check the status of your credit card application by simply clicking on the "Account Services" tab and then on the "Check Status of Pending Loan Application" link under the Lending Services section.

Totally fine...  no worries. I got the same message when I apped for the CashRewards in June, and the GoRewards in September. Both applications were approved.

Good luck, and if you need to, you can probably reallocate the CL from one card to the new one. NFCU seems to approve these very quickly, covering themselves by saying to wait three days;

Well I got the secure message that my app "Review in Process" - keeping my fingers crossed!

I got denied and sent  SM requesting a recon - they asked for two most recent paystubs - submitted this morning- will update when I hear back.

Last year I did the $25K request and they came back with $12K. Within in the year, they have CLI 2x, to $14.4 and then just earlier this week, it went up to $16.6. And this is all with leaving a sizable balance. I always pay more than the minimum. My wife who's an AU is the only one who uses it for small purchases. I keep it in the SD. Hope this helps.

I received an SM this evening telling me NFCU reconsidered and approved my Visa Signature Flagship card!!! I had to request the amount of my credit line and interest rate.

congrats im debating on going for my 3rd card, i already have a navcheck 15k, nrewards 8.5k and a cash rewards 8.5k all in the last 6 months. wonder if theyd let me go for the flagship haha. also on a side note if requested cli before and when i didnt instantly get a counter on the cpu i called immediately to cancel the request so no hp involved everytime i got instant approved by the cpu counter it was always a sp.

Thanks- I called and they gave me $5k credit line - will take CA's advice and request a CLI in three months
