NFCU CLI Strategy?

I've got their platinum $4500 limit and Flagship $25500 limit. Had them 3.5 years. Perfect payment history but at times maxed out the flagship and have 85% UTI on that now  I have checking and savings but have only used them as a conduit to pay the cards via Zelle transfer. Trying to improve my score. Know CLInmax request is $8000. Platinum is $50k max CL $80k on the flagship.

Does asking for CLI of one over the other have higher chance of limit increase or CLI approval or should I try $8k request on booth with all credit files locked to prevent hard pull and see what happens

Moving forward I know the hacks about doing some direct deposits even if small ones and the pledge loan. But didn't learn about the until now after these years being with them. If these are softball that I figure no harm no foul trying now and if denied I'll use the hacks to improve my internal score and try again in 180 days.

Thanks for posting that link @cashorcharge .  All the talk about the revamped cashRewards Plus card, with 2% cash back and no foreign transaction fees, has Navy Federal on my radar.  I am eligible for membership via a family member, so that link will be very helpful to me.

I recently applied for another $5K...went through without all of the fuss.  I didn't suffer an HP either.
