NFCU Cash Rewards 1.75% With Direct Deposit

I just received an email from NFCU that states that my Cash Rewards card will begin earning 1.75% cash back beginning 10/05/2021. It states specifically that since I have direct deposit, this will be automatic.

Thanks OP for the news! I haven’t gotten the email yet, but if it was 2% with DD I would actually consider it!

My FIDO Rewards Visa still beats this at 2% DD into my brokerage account. But the no FTF does come in handy so the card sits in my wallet for those international trips.

For those of you that got the email notice do you DD all of your paycheck into your NFCU account, or if not roughly what percentage of your net do you deposit there?

I just got an email from Navy Federal Credit Union stating that because I have direct deposit with, my cashRewards will change from 1.5% cashback to 1.75% cashback. This becomes official on Oct 5.

@coldfusion I DD one of my retirement checks to NFCU. So far no issues.
