NFCU Question

I was told that anyone can join NFCU by making a donation to the credit union. Is that true?

No. There are many credit unions that have that sort of backdoor eligibility. Navy Fed is not one of them.

Northwest Federal, Penfed, and a myriad of others all let you join if you buy into some group or association with a one-time fee.
