NFCU Question

Of course I have several new inquiries related to my new accounts and credit card at NCFU. Because they HP for everything, are they less sensitive to inquiries themselves or will their own inquiries count against me later on?

Right now I don't foresee the need to apply with any other banks for the next few years and may just focus on growing with NFCU, USAA, and Chase. I'm sure the latter will not appreciate all the inquiries from NFCU though...

Re: NFCU Question

If you don't intend in applying in the next six months for anything then you'll be fine. I had lots of inq's when I joined NFCU I don't think they are inq sensitive. After all they love HP'ing for everything so being sensitive would be kinda hypocritical lol Smiley Wink

Re: NFCU Question

In my recent experience nfcu does not hold inquiries against you. They pulled my TU because other two reports.were.frozen. I had 19 inqs on TU and they still approved me.for a 22k limit.

Re: NFCU Question

Cool beans. I think I'm going to contact them regarding a refi on my auto loan. My interest rate with Cap 1 is 15.84%. I'd love to have that lowered. I wouldn't even change my monthly payment amount, just have it paid sooner.

Re: NFCU Question

You should do it. I think you have to go with their preset terms though. They have 24 months; 36 months; 48 months and maybe 60 not sure. I chose 36 months. Which got the truck paid off a yr sooner.
