NFCU Question

OK last week I got my 2 cli's on my cc with no problem no hards bc I had been checking. Called monday and put in for a cli on my navchek bc was also advised it was soft, then got a score watch alert yesterday saying they pulled equifax...what can I do? do you think they would recode to soft? or am I just stuck with this?? didnt want any unecessary hard pulls on credit...especially when I was told would be soft and the others were.

Did you call NFCU for the CLI, or did you request the CLI online?

called them for all 3..is there a difference?

Hi bamagirl,

I just got off the phone with Navy Fed about 5 mins ago.

I told them I had a "friend" who is also a

Member who got a hard pull on her EQ when

applying for a CLI for the NAVChek.

They said call customer service back and ask

to speak with the Loan Servicing Department.

They'll be able to help you and someone is

always there 24/7.

Please let us know how it turns out. Navy Fed

has always done soft pulls for CLI's, but if this

is some sort of policy change we definitely need

to know about it. We'll keep our fingers crossed!

thanks for doing that for me..with my schedule at work and when i get home gotta give all my love and attn to my new little one (3 months old now) and my big boy he's 8..i may wait and call tomorrow the brain feels a little scrambled..but that gives me hope..i wonder if i can ask then about when i orginally applied in June 2008.,I app;d for everything at once and just realized when i look at inquiries today they pulled my credit 4 times..once on 6/10 twice on 6/24 and once on 6/25..i mean those inquiries now are 7 months old, is it worth bringing those up..would i gain any points.?

Doesn't hurt to ask. Only thing that can happen is

1- they say no or

2- they remove all or some
