If you apply, go for the cash rewards card. You will get 1 1/2% on every purchase. The N rewards, you get points like to redeem for stuff or cash....but I feel the cash rewards is much better. Your chances are very good with NFCU, as I got mine with a $5000 limit with a score in the high 500's and a lot of inquiries.

your report sounds similar to mine and score when approved. apply if you really want one
you should get between 5-10k
They hard pull my TU for the application, so is it possible to use the same pull, but I read they will pull EQ for CC?

That's what they did on mine!

Pretty sure you will get approved, you should also consider applying for the CLOC for 15k. It is pretty easy to get and a nice source of cash if you get in a pinch but doesnt cost you anything to have sit there just in case.
This morning my account was restricted, after submitting my ID and SS Card I applied for the cash reward and they approve me for 2300 SL
