Congrats! If you dont mind me asking, did you have to request the platinum card in the MC version? I see they have the visa platinum card on the website but not the mastercard version.

Thanks. Yes. When I applied on-line it offered me the option to choose: VISA or MC.

What are your stats besides FiCO score at the time of getting a CLI and new approval?

I'm loving Navy Federal, personally. I recently joined thanks to the acquisition of USA Fed, and they approved me for a $20k Visa Platinum, an auto loan (refi) at 1.99%, and I've gotten great service, too! They really are awesome.

Score was 667. DTI less than 10%. All my revolving accounts are paid off (0 balance). Had Cashrewards for 6 months. I think they require a minimum of 6 months before considering a CLI request.

And it's in the 730s-740s. My only hindrance is the average age, since I'm only in my early 20s, thus most of my accounts are fairly recent. Nevertheless, it's off to a good start with good creditors.

I totally agree that they ROCK!!!!

After biding my time, and knowing that they pull EQ, I apped yesterday.

I have the checking & savings with them, my EQ FICO is 733, my last baddie gone from EQ giving me my first totally clean credit report I have ever knowingly had... 32% Util., 6 cards (2 w/balances) ....approved for the nRewards.....25k!!  

I love NFCU!
