NFCU Reporting Question

I recently began using my nRewards VISA & MC and I'd like to make sure that no balaces report when NFCU reports the new accounts to the bureaus.

Does anyone have any info on when they report to the bureaus?

Re: NFCU Reporting Question

They will report within 6 (7 at the most) days after the due date on your statement. My due date is the 20th, and they report on the 26th.

Re: NFCU Reporting Question

It will depend on when your statement cut's. Does it give you the date when you pull it up in your online account? It's been awhile since I opened mine, so I forget if I was able to see it prior to it reporting for the first time. Smiley Happy

Re: NFCU Reporting Question

I agree. They report within a couple days of the statement. However, statement dates seem to be arbitrary based on when you open your account.

Re: NFCU Reporting Question

Also as a follow-up to the message I just sent you, activating the cards and not using them until your first statement cuts will yield the same result and no balance will be reported.
