No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
If you are paying interest on either of those other credit cards I would transfer both of them to Navy.
They do not blink about members using the credit given to them!

Is BT always available with nfcu cards? I see it on my dropdown menu, but haven't clicked it yet. At my purchase rate unless they run a special is what I figured? Thanks
Yes, BT always available at your current Purchase Rate.
Cash Advance always available also for 2% more... right into your checking if you want.
Then about once a year they run for 30 days usually a 12 months 0% and it goes to current cardholders and new on all credit accounts!
i keep seeing all these posts lately about getting the wrong navy card because you want to bt and you got rewards card....
you do realize that the lowest platinum rate is 7.99
the lowest rewards rate is 9.65
when my partner got his signature care which he used $5k of his Cash card they issues him a 15% apr vs his cash card is at 9.65... so just because you apply or pc to platinum does not mean the interest rate will be less!!!
Just an update.
I applied online and was instant approved for the cashRewards card at a rate of 15.15% (or something like that). Asked for a PC to platinum and was quoted a rate of 15.75% - marginally higher than the cashRewards. Rep sent it to underwriting for manual review, and came back as "correct". The standards for Platinum must be a bit higher, I Guess?
