So im at 80k between 2 cards. since my card is new and not 12 months they wouldnt budge, even for a BT purpose. but can I just go ahead and request a limit increase on one of my cards? im trying to get a 80k flagship. i know they will not allow me to keep it but can I keep bumping it this way and decreasing the other card, when they call me or is this plan doomed to fail?

it would probably be quicker just to wait until that card is a year old, the other option is to close it and increase your flagship by $8k every 6 months.
based on math, the math says to just wait so it can be 12 months old and just ask again then
if you're already at 80k, they will just clawback the CLI if it's granted, they won't pull it from the other card to make it go through.
you could preemptively request a CLD, although I've never seen any DPs about doing that. Just ask for $8k lower on the other card prior to your CLI application.
If you haven't tried making your request through secure message, that's what I did and was able to get my reallocation done.

True. It's also for any account voluntarily closed at the user's choice (no longer active), even if not set-aside by the Admins/Mods. Those closed by My FICO could be due to inactivity, violating the Terms of Service repeatedly, spamming, duplicate accounts, etc.
