I couldn't believe my very eyes yesterday.
The NFCU GoRewards finally came in the mail after what has seemed like long weeks of waiting for it so i got busy right away after activation with making some first new purchases and such. Plenty of them in fact, from online to the physical buys at places of business.
Now on nearly ALL of my entire line up of CC's when you make a purchase(s) that same day it always takes at least a couple of days before Pendings are actually officially recorded. You usually see Pending...... for awhile right?
So i logged in at the end of the day yesterday to confirm those Pendings and to my utter surprise they were already LISTED!!!
NFCU has to be the absolute quickest to turn pendings into official recorded balances that i ever seen to date.
Anyone else notice this? Also are they OK with multiple payments in advance or do they prefer a limit on that.

Ive noticed this as well on the postings.
As far as payments go, I push mine, and when my card had a low limit a few years ago, I made at least 3 payments a month that I remember. Im sure its ok.
Thank You ever so much for that pizza.
I am a big supporter of the PUSH method and it's always been swift and prompt 100% of the time for me.

Yes, I also noticed that, CM. I made one payment and scheduled another with no problems. Just another data point.
Amex is probably the quickest to change pending to posted as they enjoy their money, but NFCU is quick.
Maybe it was because of it being a Friday? I had two charges ( my first two charges on the card ) from Friday morning, July 22 just post this morning on the 26th, Tuesday.
I don't know how long the payments take as I have not had one go through yet - just made a payment this morning after the charges posted.
Is there anywhere within the acount that you can view "pending payments?" (not pending charges). I'm not seeing this. Thanks!
NFCU seems to not care about making multiple payments. I use NFCU for banking and just transfer a payment to the card for the balance every night I use it I have had a credit on the card before and they left it.

This too is very good to learn of and very welcome indeed!
Thanks for the confirm.
You're right about this. Navy Federal posts charges and payments lightening fast.
