Getting in isn't difficult at all. Just serve the country, lol.

I tried like crazy to serve my country lol. I spent 6 months battling the army's recruiting command to join complete with multiple doctor's opinions, and a congressman lol.

I had a congenital birth defect where I was born without two fingers on my right hand. MEPS said I was fine and cleared me to joing but USAREC gave me the finger three weeks later....

On another note I was lucky enough to have a grandfather who retired from the Navy and is a member for 30+ years..... that got me in last week Smiley Happy

Congrats on your NFCU membership. DId you still want to serve? You could try the Navy, if you get past MEPS it shouldn't be a problem. Also, while in if you wanted to be "boots on the ground" then you can IA (Individual Augmentee) and go to Afghanistan.

Kianier, thats how I got in, however I would not call that an "easy route" maybe not difficult but defiantly not easy. I really laugh at all of the posts saying that they signed up under some shakey grounds got approved for a CC and Navcheck and here come the big bad security team saying that they are not eligible to join. It gets humorous.
