So I am trying to be as patient as possible waiting for my EQ to update the lower NF and lower HD Statement (which should put me over 650 on the MyFICO side of the fence), and it is currently sitting at 642 on MyFICO my issue is on NF it is showing at 633 and was updated on the 3rd of this month and the Rep stated they only update every 60 days?! I'm assuming she meant 30 since I have one each month, but even still that would mean waiting until August 3rd which seems a bit unfair if you ask me since my statement doesn't even clear with them until the 5th of each month?! So now I am very confused and don't want to pull the trigger to soon even though everything else matches/lines up. Do I wait for my EQ to update here and then request or will it even matter and they go by what they have internally (Since that is what the Rep stated) and I would have a higher chance of denial?! Please help *sighs* LOL. Thank you
It would probably be best if you wait for them to update your score again. From what I understand they do an ar, which is probably what the car was referring to being every 60 days. Also, the score they gave me was EQ FICO 9. So make sure that's the score that you're looking at and not your EQ 8.
@BmoreBull I am looking at the 9 and I may do that *sighs*
@AllZero Hmmm....well fudge so now I may end up doing the DISCO app before my CLI .....hmmmm.....AGH this changes things for me if I knew 600 plus wasn't a problem I would go for it....but I really feel if it showed 650 or more I would have a better chance.....but if I do shoot for the DISCO after my EQ updates this month it may hurt for my next report to Navy August ....decisions decisions LOL

From what I have read here, Navy seems very relationship based. I'm sure that scores are taken into factor ( internal and FICO ), but as long as you have been doing right by them, they seem to take care of you. There was even one post here where a person got a platinum card as their second card, with a $20k SL and a 580 credit score. 🤯 A lot of this was pre COVID of course, so take it with a grain of salt.

@Girlzilla88 . You may be looking at 3x CLI on your current limit. So take that into consideration.
@AllZero @BmoreBull Mannnnnn ya'll are making me feel so great I may still jump for the DP's Hahahaha. But @BmoreBull they pull TU for New Cards (which is higher than my EQ) EQ is my lowest score currently because it has more inquiries showing...Lame haha
@Girlzilla88 Are you able to hold off on the Disco app until NFCU updates beginning of Aug? I know its hard! Lol
