NFCU request for lower apr

I sent a message this morning requesting my apr to be lowered on my platinum card.

Sucess went from 14.49 to 8 .49%

Desired BK recovery line up complete 7/12/2021. Planning to garden until 8/2023 and potentially try for AMEX.

Huh.  That's astounding!

Do you recall what your rough FICO score was at time of approval and how long ago it was?  6% reduction is far more than rates changed over any period in the last decade.

Along with so many other pressing things right now I need to get my request in for my mom's DD-214 in the mail, that APR is even lower than the PLOC I have open and would be my clear secondary financing by several miles even if I am re-adjusting my financial thoughts towards hammering my debt this year which would open up a second HELOC option if needed.

That's got to feel good: a nice result of your excellent FICO scores. Smiley Happy
