Nasa

I can not express or explain effectively how inept this CU is and their website, customer service and protocols are the worse that I've experienced.

i wish there was a way I could deter others from experiencing this dissapointment.

spend effort elsewhere.

Re: Nasa

Lol. I know. I love their laminated cards from the 1980s. Remind me of 1980s movies fake IDs.… AND.… Real NASA continues to brag that their old technology made it to Mars and current stuff is crashing. They really should not brag. The CU shouldn't emulate them lol.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience you can always ask for a supervisor they can't all be that bad

Yeah, OP. What happened?

My experience has been nothing but amazing, fruitful and professional.

My NASA card is not laminated, its the same quality of materials as any other credit card that I have.

The web site is out of date, but they are working on improvements recently, along with the change to the rewards structure on the Platinum rewards card. A lot of credit unions have clunky web sites, in my opinion. Though I have high standards for technology and I'm often disappointed Smiley Wink Bad technology does keep me employed though (University technology support job) so I don't usually complain out loud ...

Not only do a lot of credit unions have clunky websites, a lot of credit unions use the exact same website (modified for their use of course).  A primary element of many CUs is to minimize costs and pass savings along to members, so they probably don't have their ownt software development teams on staff and buy off the shelf.  I do agree that the Nasa FCU site is very clunky, but as for each CU, you should decide if the tradeoffs in fancy web pages (and other stuff) are made up for by lower rates.

I definitely would tie any element of the CU to NASA's actual operations.
