Sears is really trying to become my primary credit card as of late. This latest offer is 10% cash back (statement credit) on grocery, gas station, and restaurant purchases through December 31st. It's a maxium of $100 cash back each month. We can easily meet this spend to get the full $100 per month, as I recently added my son as an AU. Have already received $100 back for October spending.
10% is a sweet offer. Is that in "Shop Your Way" rewards, or cold hard cash?
I'm surprised that Citibank hasn't done a larger conversion of store-only cards to the co-branded MC.
Is this for all Sears cardholders or just specially selected cardholders? I have a Sears card, but don't ever use it. I got it when I made a larger purchase (appliance) just for the discount.

I've had my Sears card since 1994, and it took 20 years for them to upgrade it to a MasterCard. When they did that, it still had a paltry limit of $400 or something like that. After the upgrade, I went online and hit the luv button to get the limit increased to $10,100 and it was a SP.
Impressive >25X CLI! Can't say I've seen many that high in terms of ratio.
Wow, 10% statement credits is a solid offer and $100 per month is a nice reward. Not like some other "special offers" where you can earn like $15. I'm not sure, but it does seem like there is a $300 minimum for the rewards to kick in, but otherwise very strong.
