Called Navy to PC my Flagship since my AF just hit and I don't even use the card so I went to Platinum Card since I was thinking "Just maybe" I would get a lower rate too.
I was right, I went from 15.49 to 12.99% with the conversion.
and she refunded the AF!
YAY NAVY!
That's awesome. Congrats 🎊
This great APR reduction got me thinking about my Cash Rewards Card that wouldn't give me APR reduction just couple weeks ago so I called in currently at 15.05%.
I asked to switch to Platinum and she came back that the rate would actually go UP to 15.74%
UMM, NO!
They make no sense sometimes.
Loose cash back and apr go up.
and btw the cash rewards card is at $25k limit and is my oldest navy card!
Oh well, cancelled out and left things alone.
