NavyFed PC or CLI first?

Do I request CLI first or do a PC before CLI?

I have the Navy Fed Cash Rewards, CLI eligible July 4th. I want to PC to the Flagship.  I can skip the CLI if it would interfere with the PC, Which should I do first?

Anyone do a CLI and PC back to back?

If I'm not mistaken, Navy is now being somewhat brittle about PC's. So don't be surprised if they don't let you do it.

Certainly you should do the CLI application first. If you PC to another card, you'll have to wait a long time to apply for a CLI.

I stand corrected. Navy members @debianx74 and @gotcredit,  with recent experience on this very subject. have given you better guidance Smiley Happy

Re: NavyFed PC or CLI first?

Not sure that the order matters but I just did exactly that a few days ago. First I requested a CLI on both cards and was approved for a 5k bump on both. Then a few days later I sent a message to PC one of the Cash Rewards (I have two) to More Rewards and it was approved. The response is below;

"Thank you for your eMessage, Mr. xxx. If your Visa Signature cashRewards account is transferred to a More Rewards American Express account, the account number will change. Your account would keep the same history and balance information. The Visa Signature cashRewards account will only remain open for 30 days after the conversion, to allow time for receipt of the new card. If you have any type of automatic payment deduction or recurring billing, you must contact the merchants or banks and provide them with the new credit card number. Any cash rewards earned will be transferred to the new account, or can be redeemed prior to conversion. Any promotions offered on a new credit card application do not apply when a product change is completed. After considering this information, please advise if you would like to move forward with the conversion. We await your response."

@pakratus I did a PC from my Platinum to the Flagship last month and was eligible for a credit limit as well. I waited to receive the Flagship card, I activated it and immediately requested a credit limit increase and was instantly approved. The PC didn't reset my credit limit request clock.
