Hello all, im a little newer here.
I have to get my score from its current 696 to 740 by September.
This is the minimum score for me to get my car refied at 2.99% at one of my local credit unions. I would like to stick local so DCU is not an option.
It was at a 713 but then stupid me applied for my AMEX BCE and CHASE Freedom last month and that dropped me.
I plan on paying off a my 2200 dollar balance on my 2500 dollar UWCU card.
Also plan to pay off the 3 cards I have with 2-300 dollar balances .... all of them have CL's about 3000
Also plan to pay off my 760 dollar balance on my 2000 dollar ECU card (This is the CU I want to refi with)
UWCU: $2500 @ 11.5%
ECU: $2000 @13.2%
Cap 1 Rewards Plat: $1500 @ 21%
Cap 1 Mastercard: $1500 @ 21%
Citi Dividend: $3000 @ 13.99%
Amex BCE: $2000 @ 19.99%
Chase Freedom $3000 @ 22%
Bill me later: $2355 @ 19%
Car loan orignated OCT 2012
Starting $17000
Now: $14500
5.75%
With paying off these credit cards do you think I can boost my score to 740 by then?
Also my AAOA is 1yr 10 mo after the two new cards. It used to be 2 yr 1 mo
Thanks for the opinions

Getting rid of that nearly 90% utilization on UWCU card should give you a pretty decent bump. Combined with paying down your other cards, and a slight increase in AAoA, I would think 40+ is possible, although certainly not guaranteed.
I plan on getting my amex 3x by then.... so that should be up at 6k by that time too. I hope i get a citi auto-cli too at 6 months
Welcome to the forum
IMHO you have 4 months to work with.
While the ding from app's will hurt if you can pay all cards down and apply the max scoring rule 1-9% and keep it that way until Sept. you should see climbing scores.
Will you hit 44 no way of telling.
The bonus that might really help is the 3x Amex if it is granted and updated to CR by sept this will surely help
Good luck
I think you're in good shape. Pay off all balances but one, and keep overall utilization between 0% and 1% and you should be fine.
Oh, and make sure you join the garden!
