Need an Experian only creditor

Anyone know of any Experian only creditors, as in creditors that generally only pull Experian when applying for credit? I'm aware of Kohls and Orchard. Anything else?

Re: Need an Experian only creditor

Be aware that although many creditors may only hard pull one, they often soft-pull all three.  BofA hard pulled my Experian, but softed my Equifax and TransUnion.

BofA Cash Rewards VS - $25k | Citi Double Cash World MC - $18.9k | Amex BCE - $50k | Discover it - $50k | Chase Freedom Unlimited VS- $10k | Barclay Ring $5k |

Re: Need an Experian only creditor

HSBC and American Express have always hard pulled Experian for me.

However, keep in mind what smc733 said. A creditor may very well soft pull your other reports and if they see something they don't like, that could hurt you.

Re: Need an Experian only creditor

AmEx and Citi are both known to pull Experian primarily, but there's no guarantee they won't soft/hard the other two.

AmEx hit all 3 CBs with hards when I app'd for Zync in July.

Re: Need an Experian only creditor

Appreciate all the replies. I just cleared up my credit reports. Experian is the cleanest of all and although I can't generate a true fico the truevantage or whatever score it is is by far the highest. I did take in to consideration that the point scale is totally different(wish I could generate a true fico for them)... 300 - 850 or something and 500 - 950... It just appears that Experian is my best option to try and apply.

Thanks again

Just remember that FAKO's score patterns don't carry over to FICOs.  We've pulled our FICO's for a mortgage twice last year and were pulling FAKO's at the same time - there's no pattern that indicates that if EQ or EXP or TU is highest on FAKO that it's highest on FICO.

EXP in particular is lowest on DH's FICO but highest on his FAKO.  My EXP doesn't match up either.  Any decisions based on FAKO scores are flawed decisions.

If you pull your reports and the EXP reports vary (for example, they do not report a baddie that shows up on the other two), then you may want to seek EXP, but of course many creditors soft other CRA's, so even then it's faulty reasoning.

On the other hand, you may want to choose a creditor that pulls EXP (or another CRA)  if they have your fewest inquiries - that may make sense.  But since inquiries have a somewhat minor impact, even that might be a stretch.
