Need an uncategorized card to replace Discover Miles

Hi all,

So my Discover Miles is about to hit 1 year anniversary, which is the end of the X2 reward match period. The 3% on everything is awesome. I had a good amount of uncategorized spending ran through this card (including my rent) and it earned my over $1000 for the year. Too bad it's only for 1 year!

I did some search on the topic, but most of treads seem very old. I wonder if there's any card that would provide more than 2% (Citi DoubleCash) across the board now? Thanks!

Well, if you don't have an IT already once you're a year old you can apply for another Disco.

Not much out there that's 2% though right now.  There's been some posts though of something coming out in beta at 2.5%;  Just keep an eye out and hit the normal sites to see what's on sale for a replacement.

Alliant credit union has a 2.5% cash back card. It's 3% for the first year. The annual fee is $59, so you'll need to spend 12000 to get ahead of a 2% cash back card.

There have been posts elsewhere that you can get another Discover IT Mles with the match, perhaps after closing the first.   At the time I asked, there hadn't been time for people to have received their second bonus, but by now there has.   So that could be a possibility
