Trying to decide which cc to apply for, I'm trying to round out my cc profile and any help would be appreciated. I currently have the following cards:
AMEX Gold Rewards Plus - NPSL received 4/93 (planning to upgrade 12/1) to AMEX Gold Premier
Chase Freedom - 7k received 2/13
Citi Diamond Preferred 7k received 2/13
Discover It 7k received 5/13
Barclaycard Ring 10k received 6/13
AMEX BCE 6k received 9/13 (planning 3x Cli 11/2/13, back dated to 93, has not reported yet)
AAoA 7 years 11 months, Scores in Sig, only 2 30 day lates in 09
I'm currently gardening and not planning to app until sometime next year. Any suggestions?
CSP IMO
for a one ...two punch but after finishing gardening for awhile you've been bussy this year INQ wise

what cards do you need?
the only thing that could be holding you back is the number of accounts that are opened within the past 12 months. Other than that, your scores are good.
Yea, your telling me. Total of 5 inq 2 on Eq, 2 Ex, 1 TU. I realized after checking my CR that all my paid installment loans and paid student loans were going to start falling off my credit report starting this year and continue to evaporate from my credit report for the next 4 years. I needed to start last year in securing new TL or I would have ended up with only that 1 lonely AMEX card on my cr. So I decided to bite the bullet now and in 4 years I would have more TL's than just 1 lonely card. I figured it would be easier now to to get new cc then it would be in 4 years with just one charge card.
@enharu
I'm looking for options, to maximize my cc spending to get the best possible return. Seriously considering CSP/Freedom combo, but are there any other options available with my current card structure.
I agree with the CSP suggestion. It really goes well with the Freedom. But other than that, since you already have a pretty good lineup, it really depends on what your needs are. Your scores are certainly good enough for any card you may want but that will depend on your spending habits and what you're looking for rewards wise. I've got my eye on the Chase United Explorer card, US Bank+, and the SPG for the future. But that's because I'm hoping to save up rewards for traveling.
