Need to find secured card, no hard pull?

I was told to try USAA, but I have read they only offer the secure card to full memebers. I am not military. Does anyone know of other cards that don't do a hard pull?

Why can't you spare a hard pull to get a positive TL on your accounts?

there are store cards by comenity (spelling might be wrong) bank that are unsecured and can be obtained via SPs.

Other than that you can check out credit unions. Sometimes the app to join the CU itself can be a HP though.

Check out SDFCU @ https://www.sdfcu.org/

If things haven't changed since last year you can get a secured card with them without a hp.  Now the way to do this is to CALL IN to do it.  DO NOT do this online because it automatically results in an hp.  The membership was an sp under the name Andera on EQ.

All you'd have to do is deposit the money and you get the card.  Again that's only if things haven't changed since last year.

Re: Need to find secured card, no hard pull?

Good advice all around.  Call local CUs, too, and see what they can offer you, if anything.  It's possible that they don't have a secured card, but they may be able to work something out with you if you're willing to open an account with a minimum deposit, which is effectively the same thing.
